I am obsessed with a good pair of shoes - Put me in the cheapest clothing with the most beautiful shoes and I will conquer the world in style. I believe that the shoes make the outfit, therefore you must invest in your shoes. In today’s blog, I am sharing my 2020 favorite shoe style and how you can get them or similar style on the cheap. The reason I invest in my shoes more than my clothes is because, the shoes are the trend that I know will never fade and can be versatile.
My favorite shoes style these days is the infamous square-toed style that is on repeat all summer long. After all a beautiful shoe can give you an extra boost of grace, elegance and confidence.
The fashion mainstream has welcomed the square toe heels and I am totally here for it. Dated back to ancient Japan, the square-toed was the thing back in the 30s – 70s. Like every other trend, square toed has been in and out of style for a while now. Last year square-toed shoes made a big come back and has been embraced by many including me.

OH how comfy is this look! I could not wait for the first cool breeze to hit so I can break out the sweaters and boots. But why the the shorts? Ha! I will let you in on the idea behind the look.
Lets talk about how you can wear an oversized sweater - I know everyone is getting ready for fall. and this year, one of the things to turn to is a comfy oversized sweater. This sweater is not actually an oversized sweater, I bought itt in a size Large to turn it into an oversized sweater. You can wear your oversized sweater with a mini skirt, a midi skirt, a skinny jeans, a slack pants for work, a maxi skirt or a satin or knit to fit any occasion. In this case I choose to wear it with a fray denim shorts and a tall boots. I wanted this fit to be comfortable and dramatic and fun at the same time.
I could have worn a skinny jeans, but that would be too traditional, so I decided to go with a simple denim shorts to ease the drama in the sweater and the boots. The tall boots give this entire look the ultimate "dress up" look.
