In the beginning of May, I took some much-needed time off social media to focus on strategies that will make my content better. My plan was to spend two weeks researching ways to improve my content. My return post was scheduled for May 17, 2021. (But life took another turn).

 On May 16, I lost my nephew suddenly — It has been a very tough and painful time in our lives but leaning on God has given me the strength to be there for my sister and her family.
Some days are better than others, with (family, friends, smiles and some laughter) …but I am still having a hard time accepting that someone so young, healthy and ready to live his best life is physically gone. As humans, we are conditioned to trust God's plan and timing - so here I am  waiting for healing. 

I am back to posting my daily style on here as I am required to. I will also get back to writing more on the blog about things that matter to me (family, friends, fashion and lifestyle).
 
Thank you all for checking on me. If I have not gotten to your DM, please know that I will in due time. To all who sent flowers, baskets and cards, my family greatly appreciate your kind gesture. The phone calls and visits were just as important to us. I am profoundly grateful for all of you. Some of you I have never met in person, I cannot wait to meet you and celebrate life with you.
